  • We have a beautiful green campus here at Vanderbilt. But beyond the grass and the trees, we need to go DEEP green, encouraging environmentally sustainable systems and practices. Our new LEED certified buildings are a good example. But we also need to look at our energy use, and figure out ways of cutting it. We need to look at our CO2 emissions, and reduce them. We need to look at ways of reducing waste generally, reducing our FOOTPRINT. The health of the planet depends on our all doing this. Vanderbilt has a great leadership opportunity here.

There is no monopoly of wisdom.
We need the input of all students, staff and faculty.
Please send us your suggestions. We will try to make them happen.
