Host range data

This parasitoid is a gregarious ectoparasitoid of moth larvae in both fruits and inflorescences. To date it has only been found from Prodoxus larvae. Adults are brownish-red and have an ovipositor approximately the same length as the body. This species has been collected from southern California, New Mexico, Texas, Utah, and North Carolina. It is the most widespread yucca moth parasitoid.
