The life history of this parasitoid is currently unknown. It appears to only attack Prodoxus larvae. Adults have a brownish-green color and are excellent jumpers. The abdomen of females resembles a cone and appears extremely large in comparison to the rest of the body. Eusandalum has been collected from northern Mexico, New Mexico, Texas, Nevada, and Utah.
